AAIMS Intermediate Schools Tag

Since 2012 the NZTFI had administered Tag to those intermediate schools who wished to participate in our one day tag events. Mostly based in central Auckland it allowed schools from north, south, east, west and central to travel to compete at our events. In 2019 the NZTFI was granted  AAIMS Sanctioning to administer all year 7-8 tag football in the greater Auckland region. In its first official season from 2020 the season was cut short by the Covid 19 epidemic that brought a sudden end to the qualifying and finals day that was scheduled for March 31st. The program however has been very well received and will continue term 1 of 2021 and beyond.
