Far North Natives Tag 

A New region started last year in 2022 that attended the Junior and Senior Tag Nationals for the first time.  This region operates from the Kerikeri Domain in Kerikeri. Tag has proved popular in the Far North and continues to make in roads in to new areas through out New Zealand.

Northern Stingrays Tag

The Northland Stingrays were formed in 2015 in association with Colin Te Hira and the Tomorata Rugby Club who had launched tag football under Tanya Healey in 2013. Collectively over the years the game has continued to flourish in the Northland region with increased numbers participating at the Tomorata clubs Thursday Night Competition. In 2023 the region changed its name from the Northland to Northern Stingrays.

Hibiscus Coast Raiders Junior/Senior Tag

A long time member to the NZTFI it is one of the stronger tag modules in the country. It runs Wednesday evenings and concentrates on open, senior and masters grades divisions for men and women in elite and social grades.

North Harbour Seahawks Tag

A strong constitutional province that has been part of the NZTFI since 2009. It has constantly featured in the finals series in both the youth and senior national tournaments. Always strong in playing numbers it has made great ground in recruiting intermediate and secondary schools in the Harbour region to the great game of tag.

Central Knights Tag

A powerhouse at Junior and Senior Tag Nationals in talent and numbers it has been operating within the central Auckland region for over 4 years. A tag nursery that has produced many champion teams and players and continues to set a high standard in performances in the final series at the Junior/Senior Tag Nationals.

Auckland Metro Tag

One of the original founding regions of the NZTFI since 2009 it continues its rich history by consistently performing at a high level both at the Junior and Senior Tag Nationals respectively. Most of its player base are from the Bay Roskill Tag module on Thursday evenings at the reserve.

Waitakere Rangers Tag

One of the original tag modules that is steeped in history since 2009. It continues to thrive today even without an established home ground but continues to have a strong presence at both the Junior and Senior Tag Nationals.

East Auckland Jag Tag

An original tag module from when the game first arrived in New Zealand back in the early 90s. It has been a beacon of the games existence for over 29 years. A solid province that continues to support the Junior and Senior Tag Nationals programs and will always have a presence in the games growth.

Manukau Harbour Dolphins Tag

The Dolphins province based at House Park in Mangere is relatively new but a strong tag module in the South Auckland Counties Manukau region. It has steadily established itself as one of the powerhouse regions in the youth and open divisions at Junior and Senior level.

South Auckland Storm Tag

This region has been in existence for almost 10 years since it evolved from Counties Manukau Tag and decided to created its own identity. The Counties Manukau South Auckland area is the strongest area for playing numbers teams and tag modules and it was only natural that South Auckland grew so quickly due to the overflow of players available to play in this zone.

Counties Manukau Cyclones Tag

The first and original South Auckland based region to pioneer the games growth. The famous red, black and white colours have played an important role in the games profile and development. Originally known as the Ambassadors a change of management and direction changed the regions name to the Cyclones as we see today.

Wellington Tag

A relatively new province born out of the growth and spread of tag in the Porirua region this module has based itself from the Paremata Rugby Club and continues to spread the game of tag in the greater Wellington region. It has been present at the Senior Tag Nationals over the last 4 years. It has yet to enter teams into the Junior Tag Nationals.

Horowhenua Kapiti Tag

A region that has grown significantly in talent and strength in a short time that is has only been in existence since 2014. Played from the Kapiti Bears rugby league home grounds it has proven to be up there with the traditional powerhouse regions in tag. A region to certainly keep your eye on.
