Emerging Nations such as Fiji, America Samoa, Tokelau, Tahiti, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea will be able to apply for inclusion in future PAC 6 events if they can demonstrate growth and development in their countries and solid governance and selection processes. This then establishes their criteria as recognised ITF emerging nation membership status.
ITF Membership Criteria
By providing this annual event this in turn allows emerging Pasifika nations a platform to grow their nations administration and governance structure, playing numbers and most importantly the games growth in their homeland in a transparent and constitutional format. Over time it is expected that each nation/contingent participating will attain full member status criteria with the International Tag Federation. See www.itagfed.com
Why only Six?
These nations have been selected due their historical participation and strong numbers in these pasifika/maori communities within New Zealand.
