The NZTFI Eligibility Clause:
To participate at any ITFF or NZTFI sanctioned event you must be a registered NZTFI player and play at an NZTFI Affiliated Module as registered on this website. Click here to register. Any individual (player, coach, manager ,referee, administrator) who participates at any non affiliated module, event, tournament will NOT be eligible to compete in any ITFF NZTFI REPRESENTATIVE sanctioned tournament or Event.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL ARE ENTITLED AND WELCOME TO PLAY ANYWHERE YOU CHOOSE AT GRASSROOTS ENTRY LEVEL MODULES BE IT NON-AFFILIATED OR NZTFI AFFILIATED TAG MODULES IF YOU ARE PLAYING FOR FUN AND ENJOYMENT ONLY; IF YOU HAVE ASPIRATIONS TO PLAY AT A HIGHER LEVEL AT REPRESENTATIVE, NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL LEVEL, YOU THEN MUST ADHERE TO THE NZTFI ELIGIBILITY CLAUSE AND COMPLY TO THE RULES STIPULATED.
Any tag module/one day tag tournament of any type/tag event NOT supported or sanctioned by the ITFF or NZTFI will be classed as NON AFFILIATED.
If you as an elite NZTFI National or International registered player is identified as had participated at a non-sanctioned event or tournament there is an immediate standard 12 month stand down period from the time you participated at the non sanctioned event. If a ITFF/NZTFI representative player continues to participate at non sanctioned events they will be ineligible for any future ITFF or NZTI events indefinitely and potentially risks being stood down for a further 3 years upon review from the NZTFI executive committee.
Players/Coaches/Managers/Referees who have been identified as ineligible to participate at ITFF/NZTFI sanctioned events can appeal their position with a formal email letter of appeal (No other form of communication will be accepted) to review at firstname.lastname@example.org
