Where to Start

The best way for new players to get involved is by connecting with a local module coordinator near you.

Modules are grassroots, community-based tag competitions that run weekly during the regular tag season — from October to March. They cater to players of all ages and skill levels, with a strong focus on fun, fitness, and community.
Click the button below to find modules near you and get in touch with your local coordinator.

Once you’ve connected with a coordinator, they’ll help you find the right team to join — or help you enter one of your own.

Pathways to Go Further

Many of our best players began their journey at their local module. If you’re keen to take things to the next level and play in major events like the Tag Nationals or Oceania Cup, getting involved at module level is the best place to start.

Our Module Coordinators are often directly involved with, or closely connected to, our National Contingents and NZTFI Heritage Nations. Playing at module level will keep you in the know for any representative pathways and opportunities to head into representative teams and play at higher-level competitions.

So whether you’re dreaming big or just starting out, your tag journey starts here!
